Comrades prices for you to meet or miss the homesickness of Buenos Aires

Bathed by the Rio de la Plata, Buenos Aires is - not only the capital - but the largest city in Argentina, and one of the most famous destinations when it comes to tourism. Not surprisingly, the city is one of the most important port areas in Latin America and is home to both historic and modern sights.

Passing by icons such as Casa Rosada, the famous Recoleta Cemetery mausoleums and the imposing Obelisk, the city is also known for its cultural heritage encompassing the Caminito in La Boca and even the Club Atlético Boca Juniors stadium, La Bombonera.

Historical attractions include the Colon Theater, known for its architecture and acoustics; the oldest cafe in town, Café Tortoni; and the San Telmo fair, one of the oldest districts of the Argentine capital.

For those who like a more contemporary handle, the city is not lacking either. In the Plaza de las Naciones Unidas, you can admire the “Floralis Generica”, a gigantic aluminum sculpture, whose petals open at dawn and close at the end of the day. The Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires, MALBA, also has a magnificent collection that showcases 20th century art. The modern building is in Palermo, a neighborhood known for its bustling nightlife.

And if your footprint is shopping, Buenos Aires has options like Galerias Pacifico, a luxury mall with a distinctive architecture; Calle Florida, full of cafes, shops and money changers; and El Ateneo, a bookstore housed in an old city theater.
