Get ready to see the world's largest wooden yo-yo in action [video]

If you are a fan of yo-yos and love to show off your amazing skills to friends, have you considered performing your tricks with a slightly larger toy? For the people of Benjamin Moore, a well-known US paint store chain, decided to recruit a team of artisans, engineers, contractors, and even a yo-yo expert to develop the world's largest wood copy.

The team used more than 220 kilograms of recyclable wood and more than 10 liters of varnish, and the end result was a yo-yo nearly 1.9 meters in diameter and close to 170 pounds in weight. The toy took about two weeks to manufacture, and Benjamin Moore personnel chose Sierra Pelona Valley, a desert region in southern California, to test the workings of the toy.

And how did Benjamin Moore's gang make a toy as small and light as this one to roll? They used a 4-ton crane and raised the yo-yo to over 100 feet to let go ... Watch the following video and see what happened:
