Rick and Morty will win 70 new episodes, creators confirm

One of the creators of the animated series Rick and Morty, Justin Roiland, announced today (10) via Twitter that the TV show will win 70 more episodes. If we consider the size of the first three seasons, which had 10 episodes each, Roiland's confirmation may indicate that we have seven more seasons to come.

We do not know, however, when the series returns to TV. Earlier rumors have even claimed that the animation will only make its fourth season debut in 2019, but there is no official indication yet.

Dan Harmon, the other co-creator of the series, has also announced on social media that he will have to go back to work to produce more episodes of Rick and Morty. Harmon, however, did something a little more informal than Roiland's commemorative skit.

Nothing this big has ever been seen in my shower

Adult Swim, the American channel that airs the animation, has not yet officially commented on the subject. Maybe that's why we still don't have any predictions about when the program will return to the small screen.
