Will the 'Back to the Future 2' flying skateboard come true?

Did you ever wish that the flying skateboard “ piloted” by Marty McFly in 1989's “Back to the Future 2” would ever come true? Because you're not the only one, and the promotional video you can see next has filled a lot of people with hope by presenting a little toy that seems to work just like the one in the movie. Posted two days ago on YouTube by the folks at HUVrTech, the movie had over 3.6 million views by the time this article was published. In it, the company responsible for developing the flying skateboard explains that at the time the film was released, the technology needed to make the toy come true did not exist. However, the created board is now more advanced than satellites that were sent into space in 2010.

According to the video, the images are totally real and were captured in February during an event in Los Angeles. In addition to bringing in Christopher Lloyd, who played Doctor Brown and even boarded the iconic DeLorean, other well-known people featured in the movie are pro skater Tony Hawk, Moby musician, actress Agnes Bruckner, rap singer for Schoolboy Q and football player Terrell Owens.

However, while it is incredible and it seems that many people's dreams would finally come true, the clip is just a super elaborate prank created by the folks at Funny or Die. According to Exame news portal, the truth came out after one of the costume designers who participated in the shootings posted her resume including this work, indicating that it was something done for the humor website.
