Three days after marriage, Chinese learns pregnant wife was male

They say that getting to know a person really requires consuming a packet of salt with them - that is, it takes time. A Chinese con artist recently proved to everyone that this reasoning really makes sense. Basically, in a span of just 1 year, he managed to fool 11 men who believed the guy was a woman.

By seducing the boys and making them believe he was the dream girl, the scammer was able to steal large sums of money from them and then run away. One of the victims was even forced to marry the fake, who claimed to be “pregnant”.

Wang, a man from Huaiyang Province, was possibly the biggest scare of his life when he was told by police that his pregnant wife was, in fact, a man used to impersonating a woman to extort money from his victims.

But how?

It was in October 2015 that Wang was informed by his girlfriend, whom he met over the internet, that she was pregnant. The whole family learned about the news, and plans for the wedding began to be made shortly thereafter. The wedding went as expected and was a success, except that, three days later, the bride simply disappeared, taking with her all the gifts, family items and a large sum of money.

Ashamed to say that his wife had fled just three days after the ceremony, Wang said nothing to his family, who, realizing the "girl's" disappearance, thought the couple had just fought. Meanwhile, in a nearby town, a young boy had reported a woman named Miao Xiaomin, whom he had also met online, and who, after receiving the equivalent of $ 16, 000 from the man, fled and left no trace.

Case unraveled

Following a series of clues, the police arrived at a cafe where they found the suspect, dressed as a man with an ID in the name of 27-year-old Miao Songtao. Arriving at the young man's house, the police found various wigs, make-ups, women's clothing and even lingerie. In an interview, Songtao said he was interested in women's accessories and said he was not sure about his own sexuality.

The fact is that the young impostor confessed to having deceived 11 men in 1 year, and stole their money - detail: only one man reported Songtao's action to the police. So far, no one can explain how the criminal not only pretended to be a woman, but managed to convince a man that he was 'pregnant'. The question remains.
