"Girl Leitoa" title is disputed by women over 80 kg in Piauí

It happened this Sunday (1st), another edition of the contest Garora Leitoa, in the city of Campo Maior, Piauí. The dispute takes place during Porcaiada, a pig competition that is popular in this northeastern Brazilian region.

Seven candidates weighing at least 80 kg signed up for the contest. According to the event's creator, Eldevan Eugênio, besides the weight, Leitaa Girl has to have “charm, sympathy and sensuality”.

Leitoa 2013, Maria de Lourdes, said that after winning the contest last year she became better known on the streets and attracted more men. However, she no longer exhibits the same curves as when she was elected: "When I gained I weighed 140 pounds, today I am 126 and I want to lose even more weight."
