Although Moscow (Russia) has hosted the Olympic Games, London (England) has just hosted the sporting event and Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) is the next destination on the list, these cities may not have the best conditions to receiving tourists from all over the world, is pointed out by the British newspaper The Daily Mail.

At least 75, 000 travelers use the TripAdvisor portal, and have been asked to register their opinions on 40 cities worldwide. After criticizing hotels, restaurants, and attractions, users were asked to rate the cities they knew in aspects such as the friendliness of locals and taxi drivers, the cleanliness of the streets, the quality of public transportation, the safety in the city, and others.

Gathering all the information, Moscow ranked last on the list, being considered one of the worst cities to get a taxi and shop, just as its residents were considered the least friendly in the world. Then, the opinion of tourists as to Londoners made the English capital among the worst in the sympathy of residents, also presenting security problems and the devaluation of money.

Already Mumbai (India) has the dirtiest streets and was elected one of the worst cities to stroll and know the surroundings. Also, Oslo (Norway) is the capital with the largest devaluation of money and Hanoi (Vietnam) has the worst public transport. Rio de Janeiro lost points in safety, just ahead of Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) and Sheikh (Egypt).

Looking at the positive reviews given by tourists, Tokyo (Japan) topped the list in five categories: public transportation, taxis, taxi driver friendliness, safety and street cleanliness. Zurich (Switzerland) was voted the best city for sightseeing and Lisbon (Portugal) has the best appreciation of money.

The title of the friendliest city in the world was Cancun (Mexico) thanks to its always happy and smiling locals.
