Ununseptium is confirmed by scientists and now part of the periodic table

The periodic table just got a new character. We are talking about element number 117, which will be called a ununseptic by the scientific community. It had been discovered in 2010 by the Joint Nuclear Research Institute - the JINR, which is made up of scientists from Russia and the United States. But only now has it been confirmed by another group.

The Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) requires independent groups to confirm the existence of a chemical element before approving its integration into the internationally published periodic table. And the confirmation was made by a group of scientists from the GSI Hemholtz Center in Germany. The proof of the ununseption took four years to leave.

According to the IFL Science website, the evidence came after GSI scientists were able to bombard radioactive berkelium with calcium. With this new information, scientists now have an open way to research the existence of other elements that can be created in laboratories. Is it possible to assemble elements 118, 119 and others?
