Video reveals the true power of makeup
You may have seen the video above, in which an American girl decides to tackle one of her biggest complexes and show the world what her skin really looks like under all the thousands of products she uses to hide acne. You can enable subtitles by pressing the "cc" button.
It's amazing how, in just over 10 minutes, the girl turns her scarred, scarred face into perfect velvety skin, using her face as a true canvas to which she applies layer after layer of makeup.
Another example, published by BoingBoing, also reveals the magical power of a well-made makeup. The photo, which you can see below, shows a Chinese woman with only half her face made up, revealing a face that looks completely asymmetrical.
Are you curious as to what the young woman with and without makeup should look like? Designer Jim Gurney was also intrigued and decided to find out what the girl's face would look like if she were totally made up or face washed using an image editing program. The result is very interesting, and the two images seem to belong to completely different people.
