New York artist Mark Wagner has been called "the best collage artist alive today" and even "Michael Jordan of cola". All this for its incredible talent in turning pieces of paper into images worthy of the most important art galleries in the world.

Now Wagner is catching the eye with a new series that further highlights his work. He created dozens of images made with dollar bill cutouts. For the artist, the series is like seeing "the stranger in the familiar."

“The $ 1 bill is the most ubiquitous role in US history. Its details are embossed on sturdy line paper, covered in decorative filigree, full of concepts and symbolism. Bonding notes with glue creates similar effects to tapestry, paintings, prints and mosaics, ”says Wagner. Check out some of the pieces made by him.
