JT Network has obtained from the US comic book publisher DC Comics the official merchandising license in Asia and has opened two themed cafes. Located in the cities of Kuala Lumpur and Johor, both in Malaysia, the idea behind the venture is to bring together only fans of characters like Batman, Superman and Green Lantern and coffee worshipers.

For this, the establishments have decorations completely dedicated to the heroes and villains of the publisher, as well as menus made as if they were comics. Even the foods and beverages sold in both stores have details such as the bat symbol or the emblem of the man of steel.

There are already plans to open a new cafe in the same style in Singapore, which must mean that the idea has been a success among Malaysians. But after all, it must be hard to resist a place where even a cappuccino has the bat signal, not to mention what appears to be a classic pinball machine inspired by Tim Burton's 1989 Batman movie starring Michael Keaton. This is too bizarre to pass up.
