1 - They found the Mona Lisa!

Arguably one of the most famous paintings in the world, the Mona Lisa was stolen from the Louvre museum in 1911 by Italian nationalist Vincenzo Peruggia, who wanted to return the work to Italy. She was finally recovered in 1913.
