You are selfish?

Your boyfriend is not as selfish as you think. In fact, it may be just the opposite. A survey by UK volunteer organization Original Volunteers found that 70% of the 2, 000 participants consider themselves selfish - but when attitudes are analyzed, women win.

Of the 23 egocentric postures proposed by the study, they led the practice of putting them into practice 17. Their selfishness may be in simple attitudes such as splitting the chocolate in two and getting the bigger piece, or in more compromising situations, how to lie at work to look better.

The survey also found that women outnumber other selfishness such as badmouthing someone from the back (55.6% to 42.2%), keeping the money if the other one drops (14.7% to 7.9%), not helping colleagues as much as they should (18.6% to 9.6%) and not contacting family members (42.6% to 35.5%).

And the partners suffer from their individualism. According to the survey, women are the most rude, such as not holding the door open for someone (20.2% to 19.3%), choosing the DVD and the dinner menu taking into account only their taste and even, be insensitive and unfriendly (43.2% to 38.6%).

The study also proved that they are even less generous. Among the participants, 61.1% said they ignore a homeless person who asked for change, 32.1% do not help an elderly woman with shopping bags, and 30.7% ignore a charity worker at the front door. Among them, the percentages are lower: 51.3%; 27.3% and 29.7%; respectively.

But men were more selfish than women in other attitudes. Among them, not giving money to someone in need (25.5% to 19.7%), not offering lighter when you were with one (8% to 6.9%), flirting with a boy or girl when you know a colleague already interested (16.1% to 11%), not returning a favor (18.4% to 15.8%), blaming someone for something you did (26.6% to 24.5%) and failing to assign bank for elderly or pregnant women (11.6% to 9.5%).

Overall, the survey also found that 50% of respondents commit two or more individualistic acts a day and 90% said they could do more to put the welfare of others ahead of their own.

And according to survey data, women are in need of improvement. In addition to all the attitudes already mentioned, they are also the ones who borrow the most without giving back, forget a friend's birthday, do not volunteer to help with a sporting event and make tea at work, do not offer anyone .
