Have you found anything strange on the street, in the rain or on the farm? Any objects lost in your attic or in the woods? No doubt what is it for? Don't worry: the internet answers you all and a little bit about unusual things out there. Below you will see 11 of these curious finds that left the crowd heady until they figured out what they were for:
1. Objects on the river
The guy - who wears sandals with socks - found these three pieces in a river. On the internet, he discovered that they were oil lamps called “diya” used during the celebration of Diwali, a Hindu religious festival.
2. Wooden Cabinet
Another netizen saw such a deal in a park in Barcelona and got upset. By posting the photo, he discovered that they were insect hotels! They are usually made for bees, ladybugs and butterflies, to be used as nests or housing. They can also serve for hibernation.
3. Gooey
This disgusting little thing with a "tail" found off the coast of South Carolina is a sea kidney, a business that is neither a plant nor an animal, but a jumble of animals, or rather a colony of cnidaria.
4. Is it to eat?
In a Japanese restaurant, the customer received a plate of this and did not know what it was. They are red papaya, known in some places as sea pineapple. It is said to have an ammonia-like rubberized texture. Ew!
5. Little door in the tree
This was found in a forest in Scotland and is nothing more than a fairy gate. That's right: little hatches where people leave messages and offerings to these mystical beings of nature!
6. Weird little carpool
Not knowing what this type of wagon is for, the photographer turned to the sages of social networks. It's simple: they carry gliders! It's hard to be poor, right?
7. Finding in the Trash
This strange thing, found in the trash, is an erhu, a Chinese musical instrument made up of two strings that are played with a bow - so it is also often called a Chinese violin.
8. Different bottle
This was sealed and empty, and whoever found it did not know what it was for. This is an old wine decanter, which is difficult to open because it would be ideal to seek the help of a specialist.
9. Inheritance
This was inherited from a great-grandfather and the recipient didn't know what it was for. The answer is “simple”: a pocket cryptographic machine used in World War II to create messages that few should be able to read.
10. Foreign Object
These two children united in a peculiar position are made in China and symbolize the “four best wishes”: the rain after drought, the wedding night, the completion of imperial examinations and the meeting with a former friend.
11. Tube
It may not seem like it, but this is an object used to put on and remove contact lenses and eye prostheses.
