As a child, Stacey Lannert had a great relationship with his father, considering him a true "Superman." In 1990, when she was 18, she found her father sleeping drunk on the couch, grabbed a rifle and decided she would end her life. Still without courage, she closed her eyes and fired. The bullet eventually hit Thomas's shoulder, who, startled, begged for help. Stacey then fired the fatal shot.

She confessed to the crime and was sentenced to life imprisonment. However, in 2009, after a period of investigations, his lawyers succeeded in turning his sentence into voluntary work. The prosecutor involved in the case believes her release was a mistake and the young woman lied about the abuse to receive the $ 500, 000 inheritance.

Conflicts in the house were constant and discussions about points of view were heated. In 1984 Larry called the police and notified of the murder of his parents, who were reportedly beaten and stabbed. The young man told the officers that the culprit for the crime was his brother Michael, who had mental problems. However, during the investigations, the officers found enough evidence to prove that Larry had been the real culprit, so he was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Surprisingly - or not - Michael was convicted of murdering a man during a robbery in 1991.

3. Macabre Inspiration

When a woman was found dead in her own home, police had no idea that the culprit would be her own son, Daniel Bartlam, just 14 years old. Inspired by a British soap opera, the young man killed his mother with a hammer, soaked the room with gasoline and then set the house on fire.

Asked by police, Daniel said an attacker had committed the crime, but as soon as they investigated the young man's computer, they found the story that inspired him. The evidence was sufficient to legitimize the guilt of the teenager, who was sentenced to life imprisonment.

4. Lack of love

Young Greg Ousley could not say that he had physically abusive parents, but he simply felt no affection on their part. With an alcoholic father and an emotionally unstable mother, Greg felt abandoned, and the situation got worse when he saw his mother kissing his father's best friend.

He tried to talk to them about how he was feeling, but their outburst only served to push them further away. Realizing that the situation would never change, Greg, who was in depression, decided to kill his parents. On February 27, 1993, he took his father's shotgun and shot him in the head. Then he followed his mother as she tried to reach the phone and killed her too.

He left the house and went to a friend's house to confess the crime. Unexpectedly, Greg returned home, called the police, and said he had no idea what had happened, since he was away all day. He just didn't have the revelation of his friend, who told the officers about his guilt in the crime. Greg was tried as an adult and sentenced to 60 years in prison.

5. Brazilian Amityville

In 2013, a barbaric crime had national repercussions: the murder of the Pesseghini family. If you do not remember, the investigation pointed out that the young Marcelo Pesseghini, just 13 years old, would have killed his parents, grandmother, great-aunt and later committed suicide.

Supposedly, the teenager was inspired by a famous 1974 episode, which led to "Amityville Terror, " when Ronald DeFeo decided to murder his parents and brothers and commit suicide.

On the night of August 4, 2013, Marcelo took his father's police pistol and killed family members. The next day, he hid the gun in his backpack and went to school, as usual. Upon returning home, he would have committed suicide.

Although investigations point to the teenager as guilty, the family still struggles to reopen the case and prove Marcelo's innocence. Theories claim that corrupt police officers or members of organized crime would be the real blame for the tragedy.

6. No rules

It is not uncommon to find teenagers dissatisfied with their parents' demands and rules, but 14-year-old Jeffrey and 17-year-old Robert Dingman took it very seriously. For a while, the brothers considered ways to annihilate their parents, considering methods such as poisoning and drowning. On the fateful day, the teenagers decided to use a gun and Jeffrey fired the first shots, seriously injuring his parents. Robert completed the crime and they both hid the bodies in trash bags and left them in the attic.

Then they called several friends to a big house party, claiming that their parents would be traveling. When mom and dad didn't show up at their respective jobs, colleagues called the police, who discovered the murders.

Despite all the evidence proving their participation, one of the prosecutors reached an agreement with Jeffrey to testify against his brother. Thus, the youngest was sentenced to 30 years, while Robert got life imprisonment.

7. Forbidden Love
