Artificial intelligence hearing aids translate up to 17 languages

Starkey Hearing Technologies' Livio AI not only helps you hear more clearly, but also tracks your steps, transmits music and calls, and translates 27 languages.

The hearing aid features Starkey's proprietary Hearing Reality technology, which manages and separates sound layers to return “normal” hearing, even in loud places.

And that's not all, Livio AI also has an accelerometer and a gyro, and because it's attached to your head (behind your ear or inside the ear canal) instead of your wrist, it's an extremely accurate activity tracker.

Total welfare

The hearing aid connects to a complementary app called Thrive (available for iOS and Android) that monitors the physical and mental ability to reduce the risks associated with hearing loss, including anxiety and social isolation.

Each day, the app provides three types of scores: body, brain and wellness. The body score is based on the number of steps you have taken, how much time you spent doing some exercise or moving. Brain scoring shows the benefits of wearing a hearing aid and factors of how long you are wearing, actively listening, and interacting with others. In the end, the app combines this information with your body score to assess your overall well-being.

Livio AI also supports GPS marking, allowing it to switch modes automatically at different locations and stream media via Bluetooth.
