Learn some tricks to drive away laziness

It must have happened to you that during the week you accumulate a lot of things you'd like to do on Saturday or Sunday, and when the weekend finally comes, you just don't have the energy for anything, do you? Then, when you go back to routine on Monday, you feel guilty that you didn't do anything interesting.

That's laziness, and according to the folks at wiseGEEK, there are a few things we can do to fix it - or at least keep it under control. According to the site, one way to ward off laziness is to establish regular sleep periods that allow us to rest our body and mind properly, as not getting enough sleep just makes us feel constantly tired.

If you're a little lazy by nature, how about eliminating some temptation from the environment? Hammocks, super-comfy armchairs, beds that seem to hug us, and televisions turned on in every room are all examples of objects that keep us from being more productive. Not that you should move to a cave or something like that, but rather eliminate a few things to make your relaxing moments less attractive.

Fend off laziness

By the way, you can also create a personal reward system, which gives you a little gift for every scheduled activity you can complete, such as a dinner at a cool restaurant or a new game. This will make you feel more motivated to get rid of your accumulated backlogs.

Another tip is to be aware of the people around us. We are usually influenced by the behavior of our colleagues and family, but it is possible to break the cycle and take the initiative to make everyone more active. Don't your friends like to do anything during class breaks? Invent some game or activity. Do your family members like to be thrown on the couch after dinner? Find something productive to do, like going to the gym.

And speaking of going to the gym, doing a physical exercise routine, and doing good for health, can also increase our energy levels, speed up metabolism and cause our brain to release chemicals that work like a real one. “Sloth”! It costs nothing to try, don't you think?
