Who are the people you admire most in the world? It's in Brazil? Well, the annual survey by London firm YouGov released the most voted and this season Bill Gates and Angelina Jolie were the champions. The philanthropist is a party rice on the list, the actress had been there for a while now.

The survey involved more than 37, 000 people in 35 countries and began basically with the question: "When thinking of the people currently living in the world, which one (man or woman) do you most admire?" From there, YouGov funneled the list into 20 options of two genres and included 10 popular local figures. The most selected guaranteed presence in the final role.

Politicians, artists and activists were among the highest rated, with the couple Barack and Michelle Obama among the darlings on the global scale. Incidentally, in the Obama-Trump fight, the former US president fares better than his current almost everywhere except Russia.

The world chart also brings some curiosities, such as actor and former fighter Jackie Chan in third place and Gal Gadot's debut after embodying Wonder Woman.

And here, how was this vote? YouGov points out that Judge Sergio Moro and Michelle Obama were elected the most admired. Actress Fernanda Montenegro also stands out and - even appearing only once a year at Christmas - singer Roberto Carlos appears in fifth position, ahead of Lula, Neymar and other currently most popular names around here.

The Tupiniquim list shows the biggest difference between men and women: the male wing has more names of the sport, while the female wing brings people involved with entertainment. And the inclusion of various Oriental artists on digital platforms, movies and sitcoms in recent years seems to be having an effect, as Brazilians have also remembered Jack Ma from the Alibaba group; Yang Mi, muse of the Chinese series; Hong Kong singer Andy Lau, among others.
