Cara built building just to block brother's sea view

The building you can see in the following image was built in the 1950s in Beirut, Lebanon, and consists of the narrowest habitable building in the city - measuring a mere 60 centimeters at the thinnest and 4 m at the widest. And why would anyone bother to erect such a work? By the way, dear reader. By pure prank! See below:

According to Andželika Jaseviciute of Bored Panda, the building is known by locals as “ Al Ba'as ” - or “The Grudge” - and was erected after a sibling fight. The 2 guys received the land as their inheritance, but couldn't agree on what to build in space. To make matters worse, one of the area's halves ended up being split over some of the city's infrastructure projects, which eventually left the land a bit oddly shaped, damaging one of the subjects.

Then, as one got more space and managed to build a better building - with high potential for real estate appreciation -, the other, by tantrum, erected the “seawall” just to obstruct the brother's sea view and make the guy Lose money. And it wasn't just that! In addition to covering the other building, the building housed a brothel to irritate his brother and further reduce the value of his property.

According to Andželika, years later, the building became home to families of war refugees and today, although it has 2 apartments per floor (oddly enough), the building is uninhabited and has become a kind a monument to what the prank, tantrum, grudge, and the bitterness between brothers can cause.
