Scientists can recreate 170-year-old beer found in wrecked boat

Some Finnish scientists claim that it is possible to recreate a beer from the 1840s, thanks to a bottle of the liquid that was found on a wreck. The researchers analyzed two bottles found in the wreck and reported that they did not stand up well over time, but it is still possible to recreate the liquid.

For this, they will use all the results obtained with chemical analysis of the beer and will also have the help of experts in the field. If the process succeeds, we may soon find flavored beers nearly two centuries ago for sale in stores. The problem is that no one will be able to tell if it really is the same as the original.
