Check out the evolution of Batman's movie uniform

On the 27th, one of the most anticipated films of 2012, "Batman: The Dark Knight Rises" arrives in Brazilian theaters. But while Batman doesn't make his debut here, how about reviewing the costumes worn by Bruce Wayne on the big screen? At the end of the article, you can vote in our poll and indicate which is your favorite uniform.

1. Lewis Wilson (1943)

Batman's first "movie" was, in fact, a 15-part television series produced by Columbia Pictures in 1943. For the time being, the Dynamic Double uniform wasn't so bad.

2. Robert Lowery (1949)

Another series about the DC Comics hero. This time, played by Robert Lowery, the Dark Knight gained very odd "ears" as well as being slightly overweight. It is worth noting that the costumes of this era were probably not bulletproof.

3. Adam West (1966)

It's impossible to watch the 1966 movie and not like the scene where Adam West pulls out a shark-repellent bat. In any case, the bat-belt looks far above the waist. It's a shame that at this time Adam West couldn't check out fashion tips on Toda Ela.

4. Michael Keaton (1989)

Tim Burton opts for a black uniform with yellow accents (Image source: Playback / BuzzFeed)

Directed by Tim Burton, the uniform in this movie was quite simple and elegant: all black and yellow in detail. Too bad the costume was overshadowed by the colors of the Joker played by Jack Nicholson.

5. Michael Keaton (1992)

A few years later, Keaton reincarnates the “bat” and still wears a simple uniform, with yellow and gold details, a bit more sophisticated than the previous movie.

6. Val Kilmer (1995)

Why does this uniform have sculpted muscles? (Image Source: Playback / BuzzFeed)

In this movie, Val Kilmer debuts a brand new uniform just after Two-Face and Charade attack the Bat-Cave. It is somewhat similar to the one in the previous movie, but with some modifications, such as the abdomen and thigh muscles sculpted in the costume itself. As if that weren't enough, the outfit is so bright that it would hardly be camouflaged on the streets of Gothan City.

7. George Clooney (1997)

Controversial. Uniforms are very controversial. (Image Source: Playback / BuzzFeed)

This is undoubtedly the hero's most controversial costume in the movies and we don't have much to say about it. Just one word: nipples.

8. Christian Bale (2005)

Now a uniform that looks tough and yet flexible, like a real hero must like. The cloak got longer and luckily the nipples were gone.

9. Christian Bale (2008)

In the second film with Christian Bale, the uniform was redesigned to provide more dexterity. However, with that, it has become a little more vulnerable as it is not completely bulletproof. As in the previous movie, the bat-belt has lost its iconic buckle.
