Check out amazing images of storms and tornadoes

In the United States, summer is a much appreciated but also dreaded season in some regions. It is at this time that the biggest storms of the year happen, which can be accompanied by tornadoes and cyclones that devastate large areas, leaving many people homeless and injured.

Nevertheless, there is always a way to extract the extraordinary beauty of terrifying thunderstorms. The formation of the clouds and the famous giant whirlwinds of hurricanes guarantee a separate spectacle that has been recorded by photographer Mitch Dobrowner for a few summers since 2009.

Accompanied by a guide specialized in "hunting" tornadoes, the photographer toured various North American regions to find these forces of nature. To make the images more dramatic, he chose to make them in black and white, capturing the intensity and grandeur of these atmospheric formations.

It is worth noting that the storms Mitch clicked on took place in vacant plains territories, as he wanted to focus on the beauty of the phenomenon that would not leave a trail of destruction. Check out some pictures below.
