Adventure lovers may have already seen some adaptations of tank tracked cars that allow you to tackle any terrain. Inspired by this idea and based on its experience with snow equipment, AD Boivin has developed a kit for road enthusiasts to upgrade their vehicles.

The differential of the product - which was named “Track N Go” - is the ease of installation, which can be seen almost in real time in this video here. No need for a tool-packed garage and a whole lot of technical knowledge, all you need to do is position the parts correctly and, with the help of a ramp, make the wheels fit the equipment.

Another advantage is that, because they have a track design, the parts are driven directly by the wheels of the car, eliminating any other modifications to the vehicle. Then, after fitting the four pieces in the car, simply remove the ramps, lock the tracks and drive where you want.

Larger than traditional tires, treadmills still reduce the chances of jamming the vehicle in mud or snow, while avoiding the risk of puncturing the tire.

The price of the “Track N Go kit” is quite high - $ 25, 000, or nearly $ 60, 000 at today's price - which can be quite a bit for weekend adventurers. But if you consider that you can reuse your car as often as you like and that these treadmills will certainly lessen your concern for your vehicle on rough, muddy or snow-covered terrain, it may be worth the investment.
