Egypt

The oldest secret passages known to mankind are in the pyramids of Egypt. In this image you can see a gigantic passage existing inside Cheops, the oldest and largest of the three Giza pyramids.

Vietnam

The famous C tunnels? Chi was used as a refuge for fighting in the Vietnam War. They contained dozens of food and drug supply routes. In addition, escape routes led to hospitals, weapons caches, and barracks for soldiers. Some entrances made to the floor were so small that a broad-shouldered person would hardly pass them.
