When she was just 14 years old, Mama Cax was diagnosed with cancer and, for the medical staff, her condition was considered terminal. At the time, she heard what no one would like to hear: she was only three weeks old.

The good news? Mama survived, conquered the disease, and exceeded her life expectancy. On the other hand, she needed to have her right leg amputated, and what would be a big self-image problem for anyone who needed to do the same procedure was, for Mama, an extra incentive.

"I recognize how lucky I am that many cannot afford medical treatment, " she said in a statement published in the Bored Panda. Mama also commented on the fact that people with disabilities inevitably suffer discrimination, being socially and politically excluded in many parts of the world.

“I feel like I'm in a position to make a difference and one day be a lawyer for people with disabilities, ” she added, who has now become a successful blogger who talks about fashion, travel and food tips - as you can tell. Imagine, this blogger is also quite an inspiration to many people.
