Gone bad: China school presents kids pole dance dancers

Anyone who has school-age children or relatives knows that schools try to excel and excel every year. School events have ceased to have only cardstock and glitter for a long time and expectations are only rising. For in a Shenzen preschool in southern China, the principal decided to bring something different and surprising to the welcome event.

With about 500 children ages 3 to 6 and many parents, the performance of dancers revolving around a pole wrapped with the country's flag certainly caught everyone's attention. That's right you thought, they were pole dance dancers! Principal Lai Rong stated that parents had requested new dance arrangements for the children, so she found it a good idea to bring young acrobats to school. Unfortunately, we already said that the story did not end well for Lai, who was summarily dismissed.

One of the parents attending the event was North American journalist Michael Standaert, who filmed the presentation and posted it on social networks. The content soon went viral, of course. In the post he comments: "who thought this was a good idea?".

In the videos posted on the internet you can see many children around the stage where the dancers performed. In shorts, tops and high-heeled sandals, the girls climbed, fell and whirled in front of the students, who show no embarrassment, unlike their parents ...

"Children are very simple, they do not complicate and think too much about it, " she said in an interview. “They just think it's amazing that someone can fly a station like that, ” she said.

According to the journalist, his wife tried to talk to the director, but she hung up the phone shortly after stating that the presentation was "international and a good exercise." And it really is, but maybe not for the appropriate audience. At least that's what the students' parents said. The sport grows a lot in the country as a sport, with several competitions and academies of athletes focused on the stunts performed on the pole.

The school issued a statement apologizing to parents, which was released in the Chinese press: "There was a lack of consideration and understanding of the content of the performance."

Lai Rong said he was misunderstood after all. “My entire career in the education sector was destroyed by this one event, only five minutes of performance, ” he said. "Intrnet is too strong." Yes, owner, yes.
