South Korean company turns subway into beach

I don't know about you, but I have a serious problem with public transportation in the morning. Who doesn't fuss at having to wake up to get on a bus or train full of sleepy-faced people early in the morning? That's why South Korea's subway company has decided to customize the vehicle's wagons so passengers can make their commute more relaxed.

As can be seen in the image above, it is a simple change in decoration to transform the place into a kind of beach. Nothing too elaborate, but just a drawing of sea and sand on the floor is enough to create a totally different and more pleasurable environment.

The photograph was taken by Stephen Nessen and submitted to the Transportation Nation website. It seems to be some kind of propaganda, but no one can say exactly what. Regardless, it is truly an inspiring sight to start the day by the sea - or not, as you will soon have to go back to work.
