Crocodile-Hippo Encounter Reveals Impressive Images
Wildlife photographer Marc Mol witnessed stunning scenes from an epic encounter between several crocodiles and a herd of hippos on a riverbank in South Luangwa National Park, Zambia.
He recorded the images from above of an ultralight. "It was an exciting and amazing experience that I will never forget, " he told the Daily Mail.
At first the hungry crocodiles were surrounded by hippos, but they were not slaughtered and attacked a mammal, which had no chance and became food of the great reptiles.
Threatened by the example of his unlucky colleague, the hipos didn't think twice, turning and looking for a place far away. Apparently the mammals weren't in the mood for the fight that day and the crocodiles got the better of them. Check out the images.
