This is the case of artist Robby Kraft who, in his spare time, is dedicated to making very nice folds.

Art with paper and technology

According to Laura Staugaitis of the Colossal website, "formally, " Robby is a programming teacher for artists and designers, but has always enjoyed folding paper, and since high school has created figures using various origami techniques, the traditional Japanese folding art. for crafting objects and creatures.

According to Laura, Robby developed part of his technique on his own, but also enlisted the help of art experts - such as Erik Demaine, who is an origami professor at MIT - and began applying his programming skills to create his pieces.
