Ferrofluid becomes raw material for art [video]

The substance called ferrofluid - which has already been shown by Tecmundo - is a black liquid made of iron nanoparticles mixed with oil and other substances. When interacting with magnets and other magnetic objects, it behaves interestingly, forming liquid “sculptures”.

And that was precisely the trait explored by David Vigh and his team. In the video above, ferrofluid was filmed from different angles, with several edited images. This made it possible to make a short film with unique scenes full of very different formats and colors.

The Flow Project

The video shown at the beginning of this news story is the second production of an artwork called “The Flow”. The intention of the project is to show the movements of different substances and to do something beautiful and interesting from it. The first video used soap bubbles, and the second showed ink being poured into the water.
