Just yesterday we told you which are the safest countries in the world, but we've also cited the most dangerous and even the most smelly cities, remember? Today we will present another list of cities around the world, but this time it will be in a different way.
Photographer Christina Seely has decided to take advantage of some of the many information NASA has already given us about our planet and make a photo gathering of the cities considered the brightest - too much light in the world makes many regions visible even from space. .
Christina's project was called Lux and aims to portray electrical pollution in different parts of the world. To be able to visit all the cities she needed, Christina spent five years traveling through Japan, Europe, and the US. She chose cities that would allow her to shoot long distances to capture the true light of each region.

To explain her project, she said that "these politically and economically powerful regions not only have a major impact on the night sky, but this luminosity reflects a dominant and cumulative impact on the planet."
And continues his explanation: “For most of human history, man-made light meant hope and progress within local or global areas. In this project, light also paradoxically denotes a higher rate of negativity of human impacts on the health and future of the planet. ”
