Photographer captures image of stars with fisheye lens [video]

There are dozens of videos on the internet showing the movement of stars, planets and the Milky Way arm seen in the Northern Hemisphere sky. But few are as beautiful as the one above. To capture a full 360-degree view of the sky, French photographer Stephane Vetter used a fisheye 8mm Sigma lens - also known in Brazil as a “fisheye” - and a Nikon D3 DSLR camera.

Vetter was also careful to differentiate his film by adding the names of the major celestial stars viewed on the night of November 17, the date the images were recorded. In addition to stars like Sirius, Polaris and the Big Dipper constellation, you can also check out the trail left by the International Space Station and some meteorites that have crossed the sky.

The production also has a very favorable soundtrack and, therefore, we advise the use of headphones.
