1-year-old boy stages zombie-inspired rehearsal - and photos generate controversy

Let us better position you on what's going on with such photos! Amy Louise, a mother from Brisbane, Australia, decided to organize a photo shoot to celebrate her son's first year, Phoenix, and drew on brain-eating zombies to develop the whole theme of the thing. See one of the following images:

In the pictures, the little boy can be seen in a The Walking Dead -style setting - with bloody clothes and makeup - and even got a bloody "brain" for Phoenix to devour! The organ, of course, is just a cake (which we here at Mega Curious would not reject!) Prepared especially for the occasion, and the photos were clicked by photographer Amanda Queen.

There is only one problem: although the photos were super cool (at least that's what we here in the newsroom found), Phoenix's mother became the target of a flurry of criticism. A lot of people thought that organizing a brain-devouring undead-inspired rehearsal to celebrate the child's first birthday was in a bad way, not to mention those who branded the idea obscene, offensive, and unacceptable.

Avalanche of reviews

Amy - the mother - was even excluded from various Facebook groups because of the rehearsal and had to put up with questions such as "what kind of mother wears her own child like a dead baby?" What critics did not know was that the choice of subject for the photos was neither random nor inspired by the high popularity of zombies. There was a reason behind the idea ...

In fact, Phoenix came into the world through an emergency caesarean section, as doctors detected that the baby had no pulse. When she was removed from her womb, Amy just heard silence and saw with her whole body purple - due to the respiratory arrest - her son was taken quickly by the team.

Doctors struggled so desperately to revive the little baby, and after many attempts - and nearly 15 minutes of cardiorespiratory massages - they finally brought the baby back to life. It was all this, by the way, that inspired the parents to baptize the son of Phoenix (of Phoenix, the mythological bird that rises from his own ashes), and happened on October 31, 2015, that is, on Halloween.

After this terrifying experience, Amy and her husband, Gary, started calling their son a zombie - and that's where the idea for the undead-inspired photo shoot came from. More than explainable, understandable and all about the story of little Phoenix! But it's so much easier to criticize and condemn others for free, right?
