Five-year-old claims to be reincarnation of woman killed in fire

When a child learns to speak, it usually becomes a great joy for his parents, but this is not the case with the Ruehlman family. That's because little Luke, since he was just two years old, has started to talk constantly about a mysterious woman named Pam.

The boy's mother, Erika, told Fox 8 in an interview that, no longer able to hear the strange things he said, he asked the 5-year-old boy who this Pam was.

His response was certainly surprising: “Well, I was. Or I used to be, but I died and went to heaven. I saw God and then He sent me back. I was just a baby, and then you called me Luke. ”

Chicago Souvenirs

Among other details, the boy also said that when he was still Pam, he was traveling by train around Chicago, nearly 500 km from where the Ruehlman family lives, in Cincinnati, USA. The family knows no one named Pam, nor has she ever been out of her hometown, which really puzzled Erika.

Digging deeper into the facts, she found that a woman named Pam Robinson was one of 19 victims who died in 1993 during the Paxton Hotel fire, right in the city that the boy seems to know so well. Contacted by the Fox 8 report, the Robinson family declined to comment.

Luke's story was told on Lifetime's Ghost Inside My Child television program. The attraction is often well discredited for bringing little evidence to support the facts presented, but the boy's family truly believes he is an exception, and is a legitimate recollection of a past life.

Isolated fact?

Another account very similar to that of the Ruehlman is that of James Leininger, just 2 years old, who suffers from several nightmares that allow him to narrate scenes from another life that would be completely impossible for him to know, with an incredible wealth of details.

The boy's parents also sought the truth behind the reports of little James and eventually discovered the story of James Huston Jr., an American pilot who died in combat during World War II at the battle of Iwo Jima in March 1945. .

The narrative eventually became a book entitled "The Return - The Amazing and Real History of the Reincarnation of James Huston Jr."
