Do you remember Felix Baumgartner? In February, the Tecmundo posted a news story that he was planning a 36.5 km high jump (which would be on the edge of the stratosphere). It has not been possible to go that far yet, but on March 15 he was much closer to completing his goals.

Aboard the Red Bull Stratos, a capsule created especially for this type of occasion, the 42-year-old adventurer - and his special suit, pressurized to ensure his survival - made the jump that lasted 3 minutes and 43 seconds. Before triggering the parachute, Felix Baumgartner reached a speed of 586.4 km / h.

But he still wants to accomplish what he promised earlier: to reach the height of almost 37 kilometers. When this is possible, Baumgartner will reach speeds higher than Mach 1, breaking the sound barrier and remaining for ten minutes in the air.
