Man recreates photos from the 1970s and 1980s with the same people

Between the 1970s and 1980s, paramedic Chris Porsz visited the city of Peterborough, England, and photographed scenes he found interesting. On his record were punks, teenagers, merchants, and passionate couples.

Now, more than 40 years later, he has located some of the people to recreate the same scenes in their original locations. Of course, it wasn't easy, and it took Chris seven years to track them down.

1. In the first photo, Tony Wilmot is saying goodbye to his girlfriend Sally. They are currently married and have two children.

2. Tina Tarr and her boyfriend “Dog” were photographed when she was just 18 years old. The two had twin children but are no longer together

3. This is Gino Borrillo and his ice cream van. In 1992 he set up a pasta store in Peterborough where he continues to work

4. The sisters Maria and Annamarie in 1982 and currently

5. Steve Osborn, who is also known as Metal Mickey, had broken his legs in a motorcycle accident during the 1980s. Even today he needs crutches to get around due to the amount of plates and screws that was put into it.

6. Jennifer Hall at the Peterborough Market Fruit and Vegetable Stall where she worked for four years

7. John Morris, Paul Barnard, and Andrew Pollard queued to use the telephone on Cattle Market Road in 1981

8. The sisters Anna and Emma Hankins

9. Friends John Church, Kim Guest, Gary Wymer, Mirko Obradovic, Ade Lawrence, Sean Adams, and Mark Winsworth

10. Layla Gordon was photographed as a child.

11. Punk Badger Farcue at a Pizza Eating Competition on Peterborough Cathedral Square in 1985
