'iPhone' Over 2,000 Years Found by Archaeologists

The archaeological excavations are responsible for a number of curious and interesting discoveries about our ancestors, and the last of them was nothing short of an "iPhone" over 2, 000 years old.

Calm down: Steve Jobs was not a time traveler and Apple is not a millennial company! The group of researchers who found the strange black rectangular object next to a female skeleton named the smartphone's artifact by the similarity in size and proportion between the two. Exploration work took place in the city of Ala-Tey, Russia.

The team, once found the skeleton, named it "Natasha", while the object was named "iPhone" because of its size and shape, which by far resembles a smartphone.

It is speculated that the artifact is about 2, 100 years old and was just a buckle for Natasha's belt. Obviously, whatever its usefulness, it certainly has nothing to do with the functionality of an Apple product.

well actually we think it looks more like Samsung than an iPhone ... :) Archeologist in awe at 2, 100 year old iPhone-like belt buckle unearthed in 'Atlantis' grave in Tuva. Ancient Xiongnu-era woman took stylish accessory to the afterlife https://t.co/9GEonROP3T pic.twitter.com/6gmlk53CzJ
