Kyosho launches crash and crash resistant remote control helicopter

Radio controlled helicopters are very fun toys. However, this fun is often expensive and easily broken, as the inexperience of many pilots causes the aircraft to crash into furniture, walls and even people. That's why Kyosho is launching Space Ball, a kind of "caged" helicopter that promises to survive occasional accidents.

Protected by a kind of spherical cage, Space Ball is designed for indoor use, such as living rooms and offices. The toy's control circuit has a gyroscope, the main coaxial rotor and a propulsion rotor.

To make everything even tougher, the rotor rotor is not exposed and if the aircraft falls to the ground, it will roll and stop in the correct position. The total diameter of the shock absorber sphere is 200 mm and the remote control uses two AA batteries to function and can even serve as a battery charger. The suggested retail price for selling Space Ball is $ 80.
