Fear of the end of the world made hundreds of people call NASA

December 21, 2012 is past and different from what the Maya predicted the world is not over. Although NASA has warned the population from the outset, categorically stating that nothing unusual would happen last Friday, hundreds of people still remained in doubt.

NASA usually receives about 90 calls a week, but in the days leading up to the possible end of the world that number has risen to over 300 a day. Among the most common doubts, people wanted to know exactly what the end of the planet would be like, like a meteor crash or a deadly alignment of planets.

Now that the "danger" has passed, NASA phones should be calmer, at least until a new theory emerges that the world will come to an end in the coming years. When in doubt, check out a special post-apocalypse video prepared by the US space agency.
