30cm Tailed Boy Worshiped as God in India

The six-year-old Amar Singh is being worshiped as a god in the village of Mijmapur in northwest India. The reason for this would be the growth of a kind of "tail", which is actually a 30 cm braid made with thick dark hair that grows in a region of the boy's back.

Residents of Amar Singh village believe the "tail" is a sign that the boy has a connection with Hanuman, a monkey-like Hindu god. Other neighbors also believe that Amar's braid resembles a cow's tail, which is a sacred animal to local culture.

The child's family says that he was born with an abnormal amount of hair in that region of the back, but they were about 2.5 cm. Over time, the wires grew and it was possible to braid them.

Amar's father explains that while it is possible to cut the braid, the family has chosen to keep it because they believe it is a gift from God. He also said that his son is a very loving, healthy and studious child.
