Meteorite Brings Possible Evidence of Extraterrestrial Life

A group of scientists in Wales claim to have found substantial evidence that there may be life elsewhere in the cosmos. By digging into a meteorite fallen a few years ago in Sri Lanka, scholars have discovered something beyond the typical structure of a comet. These are what fossilized microbes can be.

What's more, microbes have a structure very “similar” to that of an ancient species of algae found on Earth. Given the age of the fossils and their position within the meteorite, scientists have concluded that this is not a case of contamination - rather, it is a biological example of extraterrestrial origin.

In any case, it is worth remembering that this is still purely structural evidence - based on similar appearances, as it were. The group intends to conduct more tests in order to come up with more conclusive data.
