The tallest hotel in the world has just opened in Dubai

According to the Daily Mail, the world's tallest hotel was opened in Dubai. Belonging to the Marriott chain, JW Marquis is 335 meters high and has 72 floors, as well as nine restaurants, two ballrooms, five bars, a gym and a spa. The daily price? Room rates start at $ 326 per person.

According to the publication, the hotel has two towers with 804 suites each - only one was inaugurated, and the second will be operational in 2014 - consisting of two presidential suites, 506 King suites and 156 double rooms. There are also 118 rooms located at the ends of the buildings, and another 22 king suites with different configurations to suit guests. In addition, each tower offers four rooms for the disabled.

The structure also has a 30 meter swimming pool, installed on the seventh floor of one of the towers. The JW Marriott Marquis has surpassed the tallest hotel in the world to date - the Rose Tower, also from Dubai - by 21 meters and is due to enter the Guinness Book soon.
