Dad turns son into action hero using special effects [video]

Daniel Hashimoto's son is three years old and a happy child: besides having no big responsibilities or worries in life and just thinking about playing, he has a father who works as an animator at DreamWorks studio.

Using only Adobe AfterEffects, the animator decided to turn his son's everyday situations into sensational adventures such as jumping over a lava river, taking off on a spaceship and commanding a lightsaber.

The result is the Action Movie Kid channel, which features "cute" clips of less than fifteen seconds and a few special effects (and tens of thousands of views per post). Above, you can check out the playlist of all videos posted so far.

"My three-year-old is amazing. He gets into some epic situations, which reminds me that life is an adventure, " reports Daniel in the channel description. He also warned that his son watched the clips and liked it, but was not that pleased: just like every child, the boy now wants to repeat the real situations without the use of computer graphics.
