American pizzeria serves specialty with frog meat, python and crocodile

Evan's Neighborhood Pizza is an American restaurant located in the state of Florida that offers a specialty that can cause chills in some and mouth-watering others.

Named Everglades, the pizza is topped with the region's most exotic meats: frog legs, python lures and a kind of spicy crocodile salami - all accompanied by some cheese and tomatoes to enrich the flavor.

The inspiration for creating the recipe came two years ago when employees talked about the python invasion in the city of Everglades. Evan Daniell told NY Daily News that he believes he has sold about 150 units since its inception.

But to taste a piece of the delicacy one must be willing to pay a salty price. Each frog, python and crocodile pizza costs $ 45, which is more than $ 100 in today's price. The owner of the business explains that the meat of python can reach more than 66 dollars per pound, which corresponds to 300 reais per kilo - which, of course, makes the pizza more expensive.

According to Daniell, who claims to be creative when it comes to food, his next creation should combine raccoon meat, armadillo and skunk. “I just need to find a supplier, ” he reveals.
