It all started 5 years ago when a man identified as 59-year-old Robin Cozens met a woman over the internet through an online poker match site. They became friends, the conversations got spicy, and she started asking him to visit her in England. After a bit of rolling, the supposed ultimatum came: either he would travel to Hull, 280 kilometers from London, or she would send the guy's nudes to his boss.

Robin decided to obey. He quit his job as an engineer in the US and moved to the UK, where he would start a new life with his girlfriend. At first, according to Robin, it was all a marvel, but it started to degrade as she began to have constant jealous attacks. "She monitored my cell phone, wanted to know what I was talking to, installed a tracker, controlled my spending for fear that I was sending money to some supposed girlfriend in the US and so on, " explained the grown man.

The next step was violence, manifested through punches, slaps and bites. Robin gave up on the relationship, but always turned back when his girlfriend was regretful. But the behavior never changed until the American had the courage to go out and look for help.

Now he is living in his car as he has no place to live. "I don't want women like her to think they can treat people that way, " the citizen told the papers. “There is support outside of abuse. So take courage and get out of this situation. People say they will change, but they never change, ”you said.
