Poetry, painting and cinema: check out the hobbies of 4 evil leaders

1 - Adolf Hitler ... and art

Before becoming the leader of the Nazi Party - and one of the most hated men in human history - Adolf Hitler wanted to devote himself to art. And he took this idea so seriously that he tried to join the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts, but was rejected. Twice. Hitler even created and sold postcards to tourists for a living, and even painted between two and three paintings a day to make money.

When he was sent to fight in the First World War, young Hitler even took his gadgets in tow to portray the local landscape, and after finally giving up being an artist to pursue political life, he had painted over a thousand works. According to the people in his life, besides being a lover of painting, Fürher also loved the cinema - and was a huge fan of Disney's "Snow White" and actresses Greta Garbo and Marika Rökk.

2 - Joseph Stalin ... and poetry

It is no secret that, like Hitler, Joseph Stalin was responsible - direct and indirect - for the deaths of millions. Not all that young Ioseb Besarionis dze Jughashvili (that was the boy's birth name!) Was an excellent student at the Tiflis Orthodox Seminary in Georgia, a talented member of the institution's choir, a fan of Shakespeare and Goethe., and recited poems by the American Walt Whitman.

Ioseb enjoyed poetry so much that he began writing his own verses while still a student. He even published some of his creations under the pseudonym Soselo, and chose the name "Stalin" inspired by the poet Evgeny Stalinsky. However, when he finished his studies, Ioseb began reading about Marxism and Leninism and decided to abandon literature to become a Bolshevik revolutionary.

3 - Benito Mussolini ... and the literature

Before becoming the fascist dictator who ruled Italy for more than two decades, Benito Mussolini considered himself an intellectual - despite his mediocre performance at school and being known primarily as a brawler. However, before devoting himself to politics, the Italian had a hobby of reading works by Nietzsche, Schopenhauer and Kant, and even wrote some chronicles for socialist newspapers and German book reviews.

Mussolini's infamous book

Even before following political life, Mussolini became editor of a national newspaper in Italy and published an infamous book called L'amante del Cardinale, but the novel was withdrawn from circulation when Benito rose to power.

4 - Osama Bin Laden ... and Volleyball

Can you imagine Osama Bin Laden, the evil leader of the al-Qaeda organization and lying behind the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, as a volleyball enthusiast? Well, the guy was super-cool, and at six foot four, who guarantees that he couldn't have become a star of this sport?

Imagine bin Laden bullshit with Bernardinho!

According to members of the terrorist organization who had direct contact with bin Laden, he used to organize games among al Qaeda members. In fact, he always summoned one of his trusted men, Mohammed Atef - the group's military leader who was also a big guy and enjoyed a nice volleyball match - to play for the rival team.
