In 2009, Brazilian model Sheyla Hershey joined Guinness World with the largest breasts in the world. After a series of surgeries, the Brazilian placed 5.5 liters implants in each breast, setting the world record. Already the record of the largest natural breasts belongs to the American Norma Stitz, whose breasts weigh about 40 pounds.

2. Is there a topless NGO

Women fighting for equal rights have organized themselves to create GoTopless.org, an NGO that argues that women have the same right as men to go shirtless in public places. To reinforce the idea and disseminate the work of the NGO, the participants promote actions and marches. It is worth remembering that the purpose of this kind of manifestation is solely to fight for equality of rights, without any aesthetic appeal or sexual connotation.

3. One breast is usually larger than the other.

Like other parts of the human body, there are no perfectly symmetrical breasts, so points Divine Caroline. In general, the left breast is slightly larger than the right. This is a really rare case, but we must not forget that men have mammary glands and their body also has oxytocin and prolactin, two hormones needed for milk production. Therefore, just like women, they have the ability to produce milk and breastfeed.

Some sources point out that with a series of chest and nipple stimuli, men can incite milk production. Still, natural male lactation can happen when the patient needs to undergo hormonal treatments to combat some diseases, such as cancer.

5. The breasts weigh on average 500 grams

According to Oddee, breasts weigh an average of 500 grams. Individually, each breast contributes 4% to 5% of body fat and represents 1% of the total weight of a median woman.

6. The breasts can get fat

At age 20, breasts are made up of fat, mammary glands and collagen - the tissue that maintains the firmness and support of the breasts. Over time, the glands change size and collagen loses its strength. Thus, the tissues are replaced by fat cells, that is, they end up “getting fat” after the woman reaches a certain age.

The article warns that it is not the levels of silicone toxicity that can lead to such behavior, but the likelihood that women undergoing this type of surgery are predisposed to psychiatric problems that can result in suicide.

8. Silicones Can Save Lives

Contradictory, isn't it ?! But the truth is that the implants saved an Israeli woman's life after an attack by a Lebanese organization. The victim was shot dead but survived thanks to implants that did not allow the bullet to reach the heart. The silicones, on the other hand, had to be replaced.
