Want to find out how a fake news is born? Come and we will tell you!

If there is one subject that seems no longer out of the media, it's fake news - which, as everyone knows, consists of fake news or even based on real elements, but has been manipulated to convey different information than truth.

The difficulty with fake news is that thanks to social networks, they proliferate and spread with incredible speed. And while many of them are completely absurd, others are relatively plausible - and not everyone has enough critical sense or bothers to verify the information.

Anyway, we here at Mega Curious decided to produce an animation telling how fake news is born - and you can watch the following video. Remembering that we included a transcript of the information right away, just in case you can't watch the movie right now, okay?

[Follow the transcript, guys!]

You are on the internet and suddenly read the following news: "Mad scientist finds out how to revive dinosaurs!".

Do you immediately believe or are in doubt and looking for more information? Yeah, you sure have heard the term "fake news" a lot, but how does it start? Let's find out!

According to Oxford University, more than half of internet traffic is made by robots! Many of them programmed to spread a fabricated news every 2 seconds.

But this is just the beginning of the work. The rest is up to people who access the internet and end up being scammed.

It turns out that fake news is often much more compelling, funny, and fantastic than real news, so it's much more shared and visualized! And so, it ends up being much more prominent than ordinary everyday news.

According to researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, fake news spreads six times faster than real news. But who gets it?

Often this news is made by companies or people who want to manipulate public opinion and influence people on a particular subject. So be very careful!

Have you read a lot of dubious news on Facebook or WhatsApp? Tell us what you think about the subject!
