Learn the real names of 15 famous Brazilian TV audience shows

Do you know that old friend you never call by name? Or the acquaintance you only know by the nickname and have no idea what your baptism name is? Well then, sometimes it's curious that we go through situations like this, but it's even more curious when we think that there are several TV personalities we think we know who they are for years, but we don't even know their real names.

We've put together a list of several of those people who have come into your home over the long screen, but you probably didn't even suspect what they call themselves. Take a look.

1. Faustão

The former chubby boy who takes care of Globo's late-afternoon programming is actually called Fausto Corrêa da Silva.

2. Liminha

Silvio Santos' stage animator and stage assistant - and several other classic SBT shows, such as Domingo Legal, is called Ailton Sampaio Lima.

3. Mara Wonder

Prior to becoming a gospel singer, Mara Maravilha was host of the Maravilha Show and her registration name is Eliemary Silva da Silveira

4. Muslim

Known for his performance behind the keyboard, making jingles during Domingão do Faustão, the Muslim is called Rubens Antonio da Silva.

5. Castling

SBT's "Boss" old stage mate actually doesn't exactly have a nickname, but is known by his last name. Roque is called Gonçalo Roque.

6. Lombardi

The same thing goes for the legendary voice behind Silvio Santos' programs. Lombardi, who has not been with us since 2009, was called Luis Lombardi Neto.

7. Marcelo Tas

The dear Professor Tibúrcio of Ra-Tim-Bum, Telekid of Rá-Tim-Bum Castle and CQC host is Marcelo Tristão Athayde de Souza

8. Saints

The “big nose” and clueless humorist of the Mouse Program is called Iran Ferreira Thieme.

9. Xuxa

There are few who do not know this, but the real name "Queen of the Shorties" is Maria da Graça Meneghel

10. Shadow

One of the most mysterious personalities on TV, Shadow has always remained hidden, showing only his silhouette during the Mouse Show. His name, however, will no longer be hidden: his name is Alvino Soares

The great master of auditorium programs, recognized throughout Brazil and a reason for fun to this day, is called Senor Abravanel.

15. Grandma Mafalda

Unlike Bozo, who was played by more than one person (Arlindo Barreto being the best known), Grandma Mafalda of the 80s and 90s, a clown that was shared with “The Biggest Clown in the World” and presented the Drawing Session, was embodied by only one actor, Valentino Guzzo - father of singer Beth Guzzo and deceased in 1998.
