Trambiqueiro asks to serve sentence of 20 years in solitary

Jimmy Sabatino is an old acquaintance of US Justice: accustomed to dealing small and large scams, the guy was arrested when he plotted a fraud of over $ 10 million! He was in a jail in Miami and persuaded correctional officers to smuggle 5 cell phones into his cell.

After that, with the friendship made with another inmate, he managed to organize the millionaire scheme. Last Monday (13), Sabatino appeared in front of a judge and pleaded guilty to all charges. He even suggested that he should serve the new 20-year sentence in solitary confinement, as that would ensure he would not commit any more crimes.

His request was granted: Sabatino was transferred to a Supermax, maximum security prison in Colorado. There he will have contact only with his two lawyers and his stepmother. The guy won't be able to exchange letters or phone calls with anyone else, let alone with other inmates of the same institution. The judge has ruled that this will be Sabatino's penalty until he demonstrates no threat of any kind if he maintains contact with others.

In his latest crime, Sabatino arranged for three out-of-prison people to impersonate music producers through barter exchanges. They pretended to be Sony executives looking for loans for jewelry, watches, and other valuables that were supposed to appear in the videos in exchange for brand advertising. Only his henchmen were pledging the goods and sending him some of the money inside the jail!

“I don't apologize to anyone. As far as the government is concerned, it was they who allowed this to happen. They should be ashamed, ”Sabatino challenged in front of the judge. The jester and his allies have been sentenced to the maximum penalty, but only Sabbath will spend this period - perhaps all - in solitary confinement.

Among fellow prisoners Sabatino will initially not be in touch with are terrorists Ted “Unabomber” Kaczynski and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev - the latter arrested since 2013 following the bombing during the Boston Marathon, which left 6 dead and more than 180 injured.
